Shared responsibility model
ComputeSphere secures and operates the platform; you secure what you build on it. Here's exactly who handles what — so nothing falls through the cracks.
Provisions and secures the underlying compute, storage, and network.
Nothing — fully managed.
Patches the platform, builds images, and schedules and runs spherelets.
Choose the runtimes and base images your services build on.
Routes traffic and issues and renews SSL certificates for custom domains.
Point your domains and configure DNS.
Runs your deployed image exactly as configured.
Your application code, dependencies, and any vulnerabilities in them.
Operates SphereStor and runs snapshots on the schedule you set.
Decide what to store, set backup schedules, and classify your data.
Secures the console and account sign-in.
Manage team roles, API tokens, and environment secrets (least privilege).
Provides logs, metrics, and health via SphereOps; publishes platform status.
Watch your app, set alerts, and respond to your own incidents.
Operates regions and the platform; reports incidents on the status page.
Architect redundancy to meet your own availability targets.
This describes operational responsibility. For data-processing terms see the sub-processors page; for security questions, email security@computesphere.com.
