Gateway timeout

gateway_timeout

The request took too long and was stopped before it finished.

What this means

A system behind the API did not answer in time. A change you asked for may or may not have been applied.

How to fix it

For a read, try again. For a change, look at the resource first to see whether the change was applied, then send it again if it was not.

Retry behavior

Safe to retry a read. Check before repeating a change.

How it appears in the response

ComputeSphere returns errors as RFC 7807 Problem Details. The type field is the docs URL for this page — switch on code in your client.
