Validation failed

validation_failed

One or more fields in the request did not pass validation. The answer lists each field and what is wrong with it.

What this means

A field holds a value outside what is allowed: too long, the wrong type, not one of the accepted values, or missing when it is required.

How to fix it

Look at the errors list in the answer: each entry names a field and the rule it broke. Correct those fields and send the request again.

Retry behavior

Sending the same request again gets the same answer.

How it appears in the response

ComputeSphere returns errors as RFC 7807 Problem Details. The type field is the docs URL for this page — switch on code in your client.

The Content-Type header is application/problem+json. On field-level validation errors a non-empty errors[] array also appears, each entry carrying its own docs_url for the offending field.
