General·HTTP 405·API

Method not allowed

method_not_allowed

The address exists, but it does not accept the HTTP method the request used.

What this means

For example a DELETE was sent to an address that only accepts GET, or a POST to one that only accepts PATCH.

How to fix it

Check the API reference for the methods this address accepts and send the request with one of them.

Retry behavior

Sending the same request again gets the same answer.

How it appears in the response

ComputeSphere returns errors as RFC 7807 Problem Details. The type field is the docs URL for this page — switch on code in your client.

The Content-Type header is application/problem+json. On field-level validation errors a non-empty errors[] array also appears, each entry carrying its own docs_url for the offending field.
